I had a doctor appointment today to discuss the results and I do have diabetes and high cholesterol. It's official. I am on 3 meds now. Metformin, Simvastatin, and Lisinopril. Ugh, I soooo hate taking medication. :( The bad news... she was, as I am, very concerned with the results of what is going on with my liver. We don't know exactly what is going on with it, but something is. I went onto webmd.com last night and looked up what the tests mean and what I saw is NOT good. Sometimes I curse the internet! LOL She ordered more blood work done and they took 12 vials of blood! I am trying my hardest to not think about it. I hope I get results soon. But only if they are good. ;)

Maddy's potty training is going GREAT! No diaper/pull-ups today and not one accident!! Even with a nap!! I am so stinkin proud of my baby kidlet. She is doing great. I was wondering though if I maybe was holding her back because she is my baby and unfortunately my last so I was holding onto to her baby-ness longer than I should have. Thank goodness she doesn't seem to need counseling because of it! ;) No onto get her into her own bed......

So I got my results back, and yes I have diabetes. That sucks, but it is something I have had before and also something I feel I can handle. I am calling my doctor tomorrow to make an appointment. I also had high cholesterol and that worries me more. But that was barely out of the normal range though.

Haylee went skiing Tuesday and didn't have the GREAT time I thought she would, but she said it was okay. She fell down which probably ruined it for her. At least she tried it. I am so proud of her.

I am trying to potty train Maddy. I hope that she is potty trained by March when we go to Vegas (YAHOO!!!!!). I have been giving her quarters every time she uses the potty and she is doing well, because she LOVES money. LOL She has had a hard time just going so I turn on the sink water and let it run and within seconds she is going pee! YAY!!! Tomorrow is a no diaper/pullup day, and I am excited to see how it goes. :) Anyway as I said, I give her a quarter and make a huge deal about her going potty on the toilet, thinking that would make her want to go, because what child doesn't love praise?? Earlier this evening, right when she finished going, I went to the bathroom and when I was done, she said "Good job, Mommy!", and gave ME a quarter! So cute!

My wonderful friend Shannon has inspired me to start working out, so I started yesterday. It's not easy, nor fun huffing and puffing when you have a sore throat but I did it. I walked on the tread mill and it KICKED MY BUTT! Which is good and bad I guess. LOL Soon I can walk and walk without feeling like I wanna die. I love walking so I am so excited to be able to get back into it. And without having to stop so often because of pelvic pain and because of my back.

It's almost soccer season again!! I ♥ being a soccer mom. Maddy is still too young to play where Tawni and Haylee play, but I am thinking maybe a tumbling class for her. And hopefully they have a night session so it wears her out!! LOL

I am still waiting for my results. I got a call from the insurance people today saying I need to see my doc and once my levels are back to where they should be (??) I can re apply. I am wondering what the heck is going on in this body of mine. The weight drop has stopped at 17 pounds but I am not gaining anything back, which is really hard for me to do anyway because I don't eat much.

Haylee was supposed to go skiing for her 4th grade field trip today but it was postponed until tomorrow. She was disappointed but glad they are still going. She is sooooo excited. I am excited for her. She has literally been counting down the days for about 2 months.

I went and got some clothes for the girls this weekend and I am very pleased with what I got and how little I spent! JCPenney had a buy one get one free on all their clearance and we went to Plato's Closet, my new fave store and Tawni got a ton of jeans there. The sales people are so nice there, Maddy was getting into EVERYTHING, putting all these clothes that were way too big for her and they let her. They would tell her how cute she looked. Maddy had a blast. LOL

We went to Wendover NV over the weekend and I tell you, after the stress I was having lately, it was so nice to get away. Brian was going to take us to Vegas, but we decided to go in March when Tawni and Haylee are off track so they wouldn't miss school. I am soooo excited for that. I ♥ Vegas! It is my favorite place in the world..... so far! My kids love it, and can't wait to spend the day at Circus Circus.

I am hoping I get my results back soon. This waiting is KILLING me! (Not literally! :) )

YEAH BABY!! I went to my dr appointment today and they did an ultrasound on my neck where the lump is and of my thyroid. The lump is benign and my thyroid looks perfect. So it's not that. BUT that doesn't change the fact that my life insurance application was denied. So I am thinking diabetes. :( Not the best thing to have, but compared to what I thought it might be (cancer) I am welcoming it as a possibility. I had Gestational Diabetes with Maddy so I know how to manage it with diet. And hopefully the extra weight will melt off like it started to with my GD. I am sooooo relieved right now, I am actually GIDDY! LOL
I am still waiting for my lab work from the company that did our physicals so I can go back to the doctor with those results to see what IS going on. My doctor mentioned that most likely it is liver problems, hepatitis or diabetes, because that is what they routinely test for in tests like that. I hope the company hurries and sends me my results.

Well, I am a bit nervous. I have a doctor appointment Wednesday to get a lump checked out in my neck. Given my moms history with cancer, I am a bit on the freaking out side. Full-on panic mode! When I found it, about a month and a half ago, Brian and I decided to get life insurance just in case. We had our physicals and got blood work and stuff. And I found out I dropped 15 pounds since Thanksgiving. Well, my application came back as denied due to abnormal lab results, which sent me into a few days of crying off and on. So I am dreading Wednesday, but at the same time wanting to get it over with. I hope it is nothing serious, but I feel confident that if it is bad, it was caught WAY early.

Brian hasn't really said anything about it, so I have no idea what is going on in his mind. I know when he got the denial letter he didn't sound good when he called to tell me, and he came home from work early so he could be with me (AWWW), because he knows how stressed and worried I am. I really wish I wasn't so emotional about this. But I am. And I can't help it. But I am so thankful I have so many wonderful friends to get me through this. I haven't told my parents until there is something to say. No need to worry them, right?

So this blogging thing is great, I think I am going to like it. And I will post pics as soon as I know how. :)
