I am really sucking at this blogging thing. I used to update all the time, but it is now so neglected.
Since last time, we moved from that awful basement apartment. We moved out of Magna to Taylorsville, and into a huge house. Bigger than we have ever been in. Haylee and Maddy think we live in a mansion. LOL I miss my "kids" in Magna, but I still see them often.
When we moved out at the end of January, we scrubbed that house spotless. We washed walls, mopped, shampooed the only two rooms with carpet and made it look nice. We were expecting a full refund of our deposit. Weeks went by and we never heard from them, so Brian texted her and asked when we should expect it. She kindly wrote back and said we were not eligible to receive one because they had to replace the carpets, and had the vents and ducts cleaned out do to pet dander and smell. Total, she "claims" they spend well over $2000 in repairs. She sent us the work order for the ducts and a copy of what the carpet cost. Well, she was an idiot because she thought we were. She only got an estimate for the carpet which was almost a thousand dollars and so we called RC Willey to see if she had in fact ordered. Nope. They said, she still needed to put a deposit for anything to be ordered. LIE. Then we were looking at the work order for the cleaning of the vents and ducts. Also almost a thousand dollars. It said that mold, mildew, dust mites, insect droppings, construction debris, and pet dander were found.
We wrote back saying that we had called RC Willey and they informed us no carpet was bought or installed and also told them that duct and vent cleaning are not the responsibility of the tenants. And since there was construction debris found, it was obvious that they were not cleaned since the basement was finished and possibly since the house was built. Since they lied about the carpet, we questioned whether that cleaning was actually performed. We said that we deserve the $500 deposit, we wanted it by the 29th of February and if it was not received, we would on March 1st, retain a lawyer and sue them for work we did in the house, cleaning we did before we moved out, and for providing our family with an unhealthy place to live with all that junk in the vents. We also informed them that her brother had a dog in the basement which he rented before we moved in. I was so nervous to know what she was going to do. A few days later, we received our $500 deposit in the mail. HAHA! We won!!! I can't believe that someone could be such a little *beep*!! But we got her and her husband.
Since we moved to Taylorsville, the girls didn't want to leave their school, so every morning and evening I drive 10 miles each way to get them to and from school. Next year Tawni can drive herself to Magna, because she is going to Cyprus High. Haylee and Maddy will change schools.
I quit school temporarily. I need to get my tonsils out and so in order to do that, I need to get my diabetes under control. I didn't want to miss school for my surgery, so, I took a semester off. I CAN NOT wait to get them out!!! I know how painful it will be, but it will be worth it.
My diabetes was so out of control with numbers reaching almost 500 on a fairly consistent basis. I went to the doc two weeks ago and I am on two different meds for that, a high blood pressure med to protect my heart, and a vitamin D supplement since I am severely lacking that vitamin. I also take milk thistle to help my liver. My numbers have come down DRASTICALLY and I am happy. Still not where we want them to be, but they don't get higher than about 220-240.
Brian and I are doing FABULOUS!!! He really is a wonderful man. He is still working two jobs. I can't wait until I can graduate and work. The medical field is my DREAM!!!
Tawni is still doing great in school. She and Brandon are still together. He is still in awe that she is his girlfriend. His whole family loves her. :) She hasn't gotten her permit yet. Soon though.
Haylee did wonderfully in her school play. I was able to go see all the performances, and she bought me and Brian the DVD for us for Christmas. She is in love with about different boys at school. LOL
Maddy is such a character. I still can't get her to sleep in her own room. (Tips please!!!) She is such a momma's girl, and it gets tiring. She is a DRAMA QUEEN!! She also informed me that she wants to be a YouTube star. LOL I guess I better video her and get her on her way! I mean how else is she going to be famous and buy me my Mercedes Benz convertible??

It's been a LOOONG time since I have been here!
SO much has happened since I was last on here. I broke my ankle and tore the ligament last October when I stepped into a hole in a neighbor's yard, chasing after my kid's puppy. I was in a walking cast for about 2 months. During that time, Brian and I separated and he moved out on Halloween. I got a job at a day care, but due to the newness of my ankle injury, standing on my feet for 10 hours a day was not good for it. So when I went to a follow up appointment and was complaining that it was still hurting, he advised me to quit because it was probably not healing. So, I quit and got another job at a call center, which was a complete waste of time. After another appointment with my OS for my ankle, he gave me a pain patch to see if it helped alleviate my still excruciating pain.
That following Monday I had an accident and fell and hit my head when I was in the bathroom getting ready for work. I texted Brian (we are still split up at this time) and I guess it was a jumbled mess of words that he knew wasn't something I would do. Haylee was sitting at the top of the stairs and I fell down them twice. All this is told to me because I am really not remembering a whole lot of this. Haylee called Brian who was on his way to his home from work and he came over to see what was wrong. I lost my memory... about 3-5 years worth. As I was laying on the floor, I see this strange cat walk by and kind of freaked out. Haylee had to tell me it was my kitten. I'd had him for only a few weeks. So Brian decided to take me to the ER and I told him I needed to get Maddy up because I hadn't nursed her yet and he looked at me really strange and told me she would be fine and I refused to go until I had fed her. He forced me into the car, but not in a kidnapping sort of way, haha! But he finally got me to the hospital and I was in the ED for a good 8-9 hours while I had CT scans done and blood work and all that fun stuff. It was here that I met a most unpleasant woman. She was the crisis worker who basically told me that if I didn't get my memory back by that night, she'd have me committed. That really pissed Brian and my mom off, because I wasn't a danger to anyone, I just didn't remember anything. Tawni was 14 so she could cook and stuff. While I was at the hospital, it was told to me that Brian and I were broken up, I thought we were still together. To have your husband tell you that he wants out one time is bad enough, but twice was very difficult. I cried for the next two days. I looked at Brian's phone because it had a lot of pictures of the girls and WOW!!! It was really eerie to see them in my mind as little kids to actually seeing them as older. It was like looking into the future in a way.
I had to relearn very difficult things, like the passing of loved ones, surgeries I have had, stuff like that. Maddy was 5 and she kept asking me if I remembered her and I said no but that I was working on it. I had soooo many people ask me if I remembered them and when I said no, they'd get so mad! Like I didn't care about them to remember them. People tried putting false memories in my head, that I would find out later wasn't true. That really hurt. I gradually got my memory back around the end of January beginning of February. I can remember a lot but somethings I don't. During that time, I had to retrain at the call center, and quit right away. LOL I didn't learn one thing there. I was put on the phones and had to have help with EVERY SINGLE call. It wasn't that I couldn't retain information that I was taught, because I could. It was that the training was so disorganized that the trainer would start on one topic and in the middle of talking to us, start on a completely different topic. Several of us couldn't follow what he was saying. So they said that the next time I went in, they'd not help and I had to do take calls all on my own. I wasn't ready for that so I quit. There was no use in my helping callers when I would need help myself. I haven't worked since.
Brian and I lost our house and while we were split, he helped me get into a basement apt. At first I LOVED it! But the more I get to know my landlord the more I hate this place and her. She is going to get a nice little letter from me when we move in January telling her EXACTLY why she should NEVER be a landlord.
Brian and I got back together in February. It was very difficult for me adjusting to him being back, and it was like that for a long time. Things have definitely gotten better, but there are those few times that remind me of how things were and I never want to go back to that.
Tawni is almost 15 (on Friday) and now a Freshman in high school and is looking at getting her driver's permit soon. She has a boyfriend named Brandon who literally worships her, he treats her so well. He is a really great kid. She is doing fabulous in school.
Haylee is in 7th grade and turned 12 in May. She is also adjusting to junior high well. She is in the school play this fall and we are all so excited about that. She is in absolute AWE about how many more GORGEOUS guys there are now at school. :)
Maddy is now 6 and in 1st grade. She had to leave her last elementary school because when we moved she was no longer in the boundaries. Her new school is brand new this year and I am so not impressed. Granted, new schools are a little disorganized and I don't mind that. But the secretaries don't know anything and pick up/drop off zones are a mess to say the least. I have seen physical abuse already done by a teacher. Maddy is quite the spirited little girl. She is spoiled and she knows it... thanks Brian!! :) She is really hard to handle a lot of the time.
Brian is still driving truck and recently got a second job driving pizza again. He is a tired boy!
I recently went back to school (the reason he got a second job!) and I am LOVING it! I am going to be a Medical Assistant, and eventually I want to go onto be a Physician's Assistant in Pediatrics. I am so excited to be able to go back to school. Thanks Brian!!!!!!
We went to a family reunion in August to Idaho and I had so much fun! I met new family and we went river rafting. Even Maddy and Haylee went rafting. It was so fun, even when we had someone fall out in the rapids. Tawni didn't go, because she had a concert to go to and I was so sad to leave her home. She had a blast and I guess that is all that matters! Right? We are going to Wells, NV next weekend for Brian's 20th high school reunion. Are we really that old?
We got season passes to Lagoon for Christmas (Brian got me one too, since the girls lived with me). We have gone so many times this summer... at least 15. I can't wait to go to Frightmares.
I think that is about it. I really need to get into blogging again, just in case I lose my memory again! LOL

Maddy got her kindergarten immunizations on Monday. Four shots!! Last night I noticed her thigh was red and hot to the touch. I took her to the ED at Jordan Valley Medical Center and they said she has cellulitis. It's a skin infection right under the surface. She ended up getting an IV and she is on 2 different antiobiotics for 10 days. I feel so bad for her. She limps when she walks and hasn't been to preschool since Monday. :(
Maddy eating a popsicle... right after she had an IV put in. We are waiting for the meds right now.
The area of her leg that is affected.
Another pic.. before the doctor outlined it with ink.
Maddy cheesin for the cam. Ü

Brian surprised me with tickets to see Boyz II Men in Wendover, and we went last Friday night. It was AWESOME!!!! I love them so much! Brian also surprised me with tickets to see them when we first started dating. The concert was good and I really enjoyed myself. There were a few girls a few rows in front of us that ruined our view by standing in our way the whole time. I think they were doing it to be snots.
My mom watched the girls while we were out of town and I am very unhappy with how things were handled there. Tawni and Haylee both have asthma. My mom said she only smokes outside. Well, Haylee texted me about 4 am on Saturday morning saying Tawni could not breathe. So I called her and told her to tell my mom. My mom has experience with kids with asthma, because my sister has it. So Tawni went to tell my mom and my mom brushed her off for 2 HOURS!!!!!! She told her to blow her nose and go to sleep. She didn't hear wheezing like my sister gets. So finally after Tawni started crying, (which she never does unless she is SERIOUSLY not feeling well) and Haylee saying Tawni couldn't even talk anymore cuz it hurt her chest too much, my mom finally decides to take her..... HOME!!! I told the girls she needs the ED and she finally decided to take her to the ED.... AFTER she goes DOWNSTAIRS to smoke a cigarette first. I am so mad that she needed a SMOKE BREAK all while my daughter can't breathe!! The doctor checked her O2 levels and they were good but he heard wheezing through his stethoscope when he listened to her lungs. He gave her a treatment and another inhaler. She is fine now, but it seems like I can't trust anyone with my kids. My mom feels bad, but the fact that she lied and said she only smokes outside now, and the fact that she had to smoke before taking Tawni to the ED.... well, I am not too happy.
Today was fashion disaster today at Tawni's school. I think she did good.....
Haylee went on a field trip today and her teacher texted me a picture of her rock climbing. Looks like she did great and she said it was not hard even with her acrylic nails on.
Maddy needed to go potty the other night and Haylee was in the bathroom and Maddy started pounding on the door saying, "Haylee let me in! I need to go potty!
I need to get the living crap outta me!" haha!!
I can tell my kitten Shiloh is not feeling good. For the last few days he has not been himself. I hope he feels better soon.

Brian and I went to our second counseling session yesterday and it was decided that I am going to go to individual counseling and our marriage counseling will be put on hold. I don't want it to be put on hold, but I also think that going myself can be helpful for our marriage to work.
Still no job....
Still no job....
