It's been a LOOONG time since I have been here!

SO much has happened since I was last on here. I broke my ankle and tore the ligament last October when I stepped into a hole in a neighbor's yard, chasing after my kid's puppy. I was in a walking cast for about 2 months. During that time, Brian and I separated and he moved out on Halloween. I got a job at a day care, but due to the newness of my ankle injury, standing on my feet for 10 hours a day was not good for it. So when I went to a follow up appointment and was complaining that it was still hurting, he advised me to quit because it was probably not healing. So, I quit and got another job at a call center, which was a complete waste of time. After another appointment with my OS for my ankle, he gave me a pain patch to see if it helped alleviate my still excruciating pain.

That following Monday I had an accident and fell and hit my head when I was in the bathroom getting ready for work. I texted Brian (we are still split up at this time) and I guess it was a jumbled mess of words that he knew wasn't something I would do. Haylee was sitting at the top of the stairs and I fell down them twice. All this is told to me because I am really not remembering a whole lot of this. Haylee called Brian who was on his way to his home from work and he came over to see what was wrong. I lost my memory... about 3-5 years worth. As I was laying on the floor, I see this strange cat walk by and kind of freaked out. Haylee had to tell me it was my kitten. I'd had him for only a few weeks. So Brian decided to take me to the ER and I told him I needed to get Maddy up because I hadn't nursed her yet and he looked at me really strange and told me she would be fine and I refused to go until I had fed her. He forced me into the car, but not in a kidnapping sort of way, haha! But he finally got me to the hospital and I was in the ED for a good 8-9 hours while I had CT scans done and blood work and all that fun stuff. It was here that I met a most unpleasant woman. She was the crisis worker who basically told me that if I didn't get my memory back by that night, she'd have me committed. That really pissed Brian and my mom off, because I wasn't a danger to anyone, I just didn't remember anything. Tawni was 14 so she could cook and stuff. While I was at the hospital, it was told to me that Brian and I were broken up, I thought we were still together. To have your husband tell you that he wants out one time is bad enough, but twice was very difficult. I cried for the next two days. I looked at Brian's phone because it had a lot of pictures of the girls and WOW!!! It was really eerie to see them in my mind as little kids to actually seeing them as older. It was like looking into the future in a way.

I had to relearn very difficult things, like the passing of loved ones, surgeries I have had, stuff like that. Maddy was 5 and she kept asking me if I remembered her and I said no but that I was working on it. I had soooo many people ask me if I remembered them and when I said no, they'd get so mad! Like I didn't care about them to remember them. People tried putting false memories in my head, that I would find out later wasn't true. That really hurt. I gradually got my memory back around the end of January beginning of February. I can remember a lot but somethings I don't. During that time, I had to retrain at the call center, and quit right away. LOL I didn't learn one thing there. I was put on the phones and had to have help with EVERY SINGLE call. It wasn't that I couldn't retain information that I was taught, because I could. It was that the training was so disorganized that the trainer would start on one topic and in the middle of talking to us, start on a completely different topic. Several of us couldn't follow what he was saying. So they said that the next time I went in, they'd not help and I had to do take calls all on my own. I wasn't ready for that so I quit. There was no use in my helping callers when I would need help myself. I haven't worked since.

Brian and I lost our house and while we were split, he helped me get into a basement apt. At first I LOVED it! But the more I get to know my landlord the more I hate this place and her. She is going to get a nice little letter from me when we move in January telling her EXACTLY why she should NEVER be a landlord.

Brian and I got back together in February. It was very difficult for me adjusting to him being back, and it was like that for a long time. Things have definitely gotten better, but there are those few times that remind me of how things were and I never want to go back to that.

Tawni is almost 15 (on Friday) and now a Freshman in high school and is looking at getting her driver's permit soon. She has a boyfriend named Brandon who literally worships her, he treats her so well. He is a really great kid. She is doing fabulous in school.

Haylee is in 7th grade and turned 12 in May. She is also adjusting to junior high well. She is in the school play this fall and we are all so excited about that. She is in absolute AWE about how many more GORGEOUS guys there are now at school. :)

Maddy is now 6 and in 1st grade. She had to leave her last elementary school because when we moved she was no longer in the boundaries. Her new school is brand new this year and I am so not impressed. Granted, new schools are a little disorganized and I don't mind that. But the secretaries don't know anything and pick up/drop off zones are a mess to say the least. I have seen physical abuse already done by a teacher. Maddy is quite the spirited little girl. She is spoiled and she knows it... thanks Brian!! :) She is really hard to handle a lot of the time.

Brian is still driving truck and recently got a second job driving pizza again. He is a tired boy!

I recently went back to school (the reason he got a second job!) and I am LOVING it! I am going to be a Medical Assistant, and eventually I want to go onto be a Physician's Assistant in Pediatrics. I am so excited to be able to go back to school. Thanks Brian!!!!!!

We went to a family reunion in August to Idaho and I had so much fun! I met new family and we went river rafting. Even Maddy and Haylee went rafting. It was so fun, even when we had someone fall out in the rapids. Tawni didn't go, because she had a concert to go to and I was so sad to leave her home. She had a blast and I guess that is all that matters! Right? We are going to Wells, NV next weekend for Brian's 20th high school reunion. Are we really that old?

We got season passes to Lagoon for Christmas (Brian got me one too, since the girls lived with me). We have gone so many times this summer... at least 15. I can't wait to go to Frightmares.

I think that is about it. I really need to get into blogging again, just in case I lose my memory again! LOL
